Psalm 22 (NIV)
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?
My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, but I find no rest." . . .
Jesus quoted the first line of this psalm while dying on the cross. What other phrases in this psalm remind you of Jesus, his crucifixion, and his suffering? To what time and place, do you thing the "great assembly" is referring in verses 25 through 31?
