Please join us Sunday, October 12th for Pastor Dave's sermon - News for Living. Coffee hour at 10:30 am and service at 11:00 am. We welcome you to share in the good news that the Lord has in store for all of us.
Psalm 37:1-19 NIV - Of David - "Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like the green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. . . "
Although the occasion for the psalm of David is unknown, there is a clear them that both the righteous and the evil will eventually see their just rewards. What do verses 4 and 5 indicate is necessary before God will "make your righteous reward shine like the dawn"? Why do you thing it is wrond to "fret" or worry (verses 1 and 8)?
See you on Sunday.
